First of all it is necessary to locate "IMSOUANE" it is a small fishing port isolated and calm, 90 km on the north of Agadir (on the road to Essaouira) and one of the best surfing spots in Morocco.

If you had never surf Imsouane, it is time to visit this magic place, and surf one of longest waves of Morocco.
 
The small village of fishermen of Imsouane offers a beautiful how of its blue boats failed on the beach, tightened with the foot of the humble houses, waiting until at dawn the fishermen come to carry them to water, watching for the wave which will enable them to embark bound for their place of fishing.

The site of Imessouane contains important ressources. One on the whole counts an about sixty fish species and shellfish: (lobsters, octopus, sar, conger, plate, squids .......).

"Clothing"

Morocco is regarded as one of the most tolerant of all Muslim countries and women don’t get hassled too much particularly in tourist cities like Agadir or  relaxed villages like Taghazout, Tamraght, Banana Village, imsouane.
Swimming costumes and bikinis are normal on the beach but it is advisable to cover up arms and legs when walking around the village and town.
Shorts and tees and flip flops are the norm. Trousers and jumpers are sometimes needed particularly in the evenings which can be chilly.

A 3/2mm full wetsuit is recommended but you may also find you can surf in bikini or boardies.
